The First Five Years of Harrad & Bloom
From the initial concept that our founder, Angharad Jones, had to turn a Cotswolds manor house into a ‘superyacht on land’ while working on a boat in France, no one (except for Ang!) could have guessed that Harrad & Bloom would have come so far over the last five years.
The art of meaningful hospitality has always been at the heart of Harrad & Bloom, and our reputation for excellence and attention to detail, with both guests and homeowners, is the backbone of our business. Over the years, our little black book has grown to include exclusive stately houses and gardens, private access and VIP tours at venues across the Cotswolds, the most unique selection of in-house entertainment imaginable, and of course, the phone numbers of the best chefs, drivers and nannies in the county.
The dream was to turn a beautiful Cotswolds manor house into a luxury 5 star hotel, along with all the amenities you would expect, and that is just what we’ve done! Our relationship with homeowners and partner agents means we have access to pretty much any home in the Cotswolds, so you can book the full package in one click, but our concierge services can also be booked at any house - so even if you find a house elsewhere, we can still help make your trip magical.
The last couple of years has seen H&B grow exponentially. We are now a team of six, and have exclusive partnerships with elite travel companies in both the UK and USA. The Cotswolds is booming as a travel destination, and our experience with private houses and luxury experiences has firmly established the company as the trusted voice of the Cotswolds.
It’s been quite the ride, and to quote our founder Ang, ‘it turns out the magic we can sprinkle is unlimited, and there is something very fulfilling to dedicate yourself to creating exceptional memories for our guests’.
